Kurt Klicker is a disabled veteran of the United States Marine Corps. In addition to other service-connected disabilities, Kurt also has cancer of the bladder as well as newly discovered cancer nodules in his lungs. Kurt’s cancer stems from the water contamination issues at Marine Corps Base Camp LeJeune. Every one who lived at two of the housing areas there were victims of the water contamination issues at Camp LeJeune, over a million individuals, including active duty personnel like Kurt’s father, as well as dependents like Kurt, his mother, and his siblings. Kurt list both his parents to complications of this contamination, and both of Kurt’s sister’s were are cancer victims traced directly to Camp LeJeune.
Kurt’s cancer has forced him to leave the workforce far earlier than expected, causing a severe financial hardship for him and his wife of 31 years, Jill. It takes several months to gain eligibility for Social Security Disability, and Kurt will need to wait the long months in order to start drawing benefits.
Could you spare a few dollars to help Kurt & Jill get through these next months?
