A few weeks back my mom suffered multiple strokes. A few days after that we got paperwork served that the owners of the house we have been renting for 12 years without missing 1 payment want to move back in. now 79 days out of a 90 day notice. She shouldn't be packing or doing anything stressful. On top of my mom's stroke she has to have another surgery. she's been waiting for awhile to have surgery on her throat (high blood pressure has been putting it on hold and she has cardiomyopathy). This surgery the neck needs to be shaved down so she stops choking when she eats. We almost lost her a couple times. It's a serious thing. Also her bones are fusing together all throughout her body. She's also in the very very beginning stages of dementia. I can see how the stroke has affected her brain with her just trying to do the littlest things. My parents are on a fixed income. My husband works and I take care of mom, dad and the kiddos. This eviction has come at the worst time in our lives with how sick my mom is. We need to make sure we have a stable place so when she has her surgery she's safe. she also has to have a place for her sleep apnea machine so she doesn't stop breathing at night. We don't know where we will end up. It depends on funding and what's available. We may live in our travel trailer and tent while waiting to save for a deposit on a home. We haven't given up. We are staying positive as much as possible and calling every resource given to us. Not a whole lot of resources out there and they do run out of money. I've been selling everything we own which I haven't shed a tear over we need a roof over our heads and we are doing what we have to do. My husband's a veteran and definitely doesn't deserve to be homeless. He works his butt off to help our family unit out. If everyone that read this donated 10.00 we would have enough.
