Disabled Dad Has Cancer & Neari Homeless Plz Help.

UPDATE: I don’t know what to say as I am still in shock… Sadly, My Dad, Leo Kolp, passed away today. He was my hero, and my best friend. He taught me to fight to live. He taught me laughter and how to use humor to help get through the toughest of times. He was the funny one in the room of people. He was outspoken and stubborn, but he loved life. He fought for the toughest fight of his life for 10 years. He is no longer hurting or suffering. Still doesn’t make it any easier. Say hello to Grandma and Grandpa for me. I love you Dad. ❤️

To everyone who donated please know that he was so grateful and touched by all the support. We have been making progress on his housing when he passed unexpectedly. Please know all your support helped keep him safe and supported in his last days and means everything to me as it did to my father. Thank you and bless you all for your kindness.

As some of you may or may not know, my Dad, Leo Kolp, has been battling cancer, CLL, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, since 2013. Since then he has gone through numerous rounds of chemotherapy. Some successful. Some not. He goes in once a week to have fluid drained off his lungs so he can breathe. He has lost weight and struggles to keep weight on and have an appetite. He lost his job, a job that he excelled in, and had to go on disability. Unfortunately, he was scammed out of his home. Living in an extended stay hotel, and having all of his possessions put in storage, his truck repossessed, he has finally hit his bottom and is in really bad shape. My Dad has always provided for me and I with complete heartache, I can not help financially, but will try and do whatever I can. My Dad is and will always be my hero and even more now that we both fight chronic heath issues daily. He needs help finding a permanent home, including the expenses of trying to move and get what he still has left out of storage. If you can, please find it in your heart to give what you can. His expenses right now are overwhelming and when you are dealing with doctor visits, chemotherapy, every Friday draining of the fluid around your lungs, and no one helping you manage your care, it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. If you can, please share his story. Anything can help. I love my Dad. Thank you ….. Jonathan Kolp
