80 Miracles, One Ticking Clock: Help Us Build the Hope 4 Paws Sanctuary
The Heart of Our Mission
My name is Nathalie, and for 9 years, my husband and I have dedicated every corner of our lives—and our home—to those the world has forgotten.
At Hope 4 Paws Alanya, our house is more than just a roof; it is a specialized haven for "impossible" cases. We live alongside 80+ residents who are paralyzed, blind, tripods, or recovering from severe trauma. To provide them with the expert care they deserve, I even became a certified veterinary assistant. I wanted to ensure that when a difficult case arrives at our door, I have the medical knowledge to give these souls a fighting chance at life.
The Crisis: Deadline June 30th
Today, our home and their sanctuary are under a direct threat. Our lease ends at the end of June, and we are facing a critical turning point. With rents skyrocketing in Alanya, we can no longer move from one rental to another. For 80+ cats with special needs—those who require wheelchairs, daily physiotherapy, and a stable, stress-free environment—becoming homeless is a death sentence.
These cats don't just need a shelter; they need a permanent fortress that can never be taken away from them.
The Land is found—now we must build.
We have incredible news: We have found the land! But finding the ground is only the beginning. We are now in a frantic race against time. We have only months to transform this empty plot into a functioning sanctuary before our lease expires. If we don’t finish in time, our mission will be forced to an end, and 80 vulnerable lives will lose their only refuge.
The Vision: A Smart, Sustainable Haven
Because we are working on a tight budget and an even tighter deadline, we are building smart. Our plan is to use recycled containers to create a modular, professional sanctuary:
Professional Clinic & Quarantine: To provide specialized medical care for our most difficult cases.
Dry Storage: For our food, medical supplies, and stones/essential necessities.
Fully Enclosed Sanctuary: A weatherproof area to keep our residents warm and dry during the rain and cold.
The Transitional Zone: A protected, half-open area for fresh air and sunlight.
The Secured Garden: A dream space where they can finally "just be cats"—climbing, hiding, and playing in a safe, fenced environment.
The Challenge: Building from the Ground Up
Before we can move a single cat, we have a mountain to climb. The land is raw and needs immediate infrastructure: we must build a road for access, install electricity and water connections, and create a proper sewage system. These are the "invisible" but vital costs that stand between our cats and their safety.
We Cannot Do This Alone
I have dedicated my life to learning how to heal them; now, I am asking for your help to protect them. Without your support to fund this infrastructure and the container conversion, these 80+ souls—who have already survived so much—will have no place to go.
Please, help us build the road to their new life. Every donation helps us lay the pipes, connect the power, and secure the walls of their forever home.
Help us beat the June deadline. Help us keep Hope 4 Paws alive.
Sponsor a Piece of the Sanctuary
We are asking you to help build specific parts of their new home.
Every contribution sponsors a real piece of the project, and each unit can be tracked as progress is made.
