Hi friends — I’m reaching out for urgent help because my 2008 Kia Sorento was impounded by 1st Class Towing after a law-enforcement tow. I’ve been told there’s no payment plan available because of how the tow was initiated. As of today, I owe a significant amount for storage fees and towing costs, and I simply don’t have the funds available to get it released. Storage fees continue to add up, and I’m scared I’m going to lose my car entirely. If I'm unable to raise the funds I'll have to turn over the title to 1st Class just so they don't put me in collections while also selling my car out from under me.

This situation is especially difficult because I am disabled with limited mobility and very limited funds. My vehicle isn’t a luxury—it’s how I get to basic life needs while managing a disability: appointments, errands, and essential day-to-day mobility. It's how I get groceries and volunteer with community groups like Joy's Kitchen, SOCUE and QUICK. Losing it would set me back in a way that’s hard to recover from, making daily life much more challenging.

I’m trying to raise enough to cover the current balance, towing costs, and any additional days or processing so I can get the car released as quickly as possible. I am asking for urgent help from friends and the community to raise enough to get my car back and maintain my independence.

If you can help:
Any amount ($5, $10, $25) genuinely moves this forward.
If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser is a huge help.
Any support is deeply appreciated, and I am grateful for anything you can give to help me through this difficult time.

Transparency: I will post an update and proof of payment/release once the car is recovered.

Thank you for reading, for supporting, and for sharing. Even a small boost can make a big difference right now.
