I’m concerned with the lack of work over the next month or 2 to get through until summer. I’m going to be applying for long term disability in the short term for assistance. Hello! I am a 54 disabled man who has fallen behind on my rent. I owe $800 still for March and $1900 for April. My work has slowed dramatically and being disabled my choices for work are limited. I need help getting back on track with rent so I can stay housed until I can find suitable work. My lease expires the end of September so I’ll be downsizing to a studio, I’m currently in a 2 bedroom. I’m grateful. I’m renting a car through Uber and that’s $1600 a month. Once I find other work I won’t need the vehicle which will further lower my monthly expenses so this shouldn’t happen again.
