Dirks Medical Costs and Living Expenses

Hi, my name is Heather McDougle, and I'm fundraising for my father-in-law Dirk McDougle.

For those of you who know Dirk, you know he has a heart of gold and a passion for Jesus and his family. He touches so many lives and is a beacon of hope and joy to everyone he meets. He has a generous and giving spirit, he would literally give the shirt off his back for anyone in need of it. That is why I'm creating this and hoping that the same love he has bestowed on others can come back to him ten fold in this trying time.

Early Thursday morning, 5/12, Dirk woke up feeling terrible. His blood pressure was through the roof 208/111. He woke his wife, Cathy, and was taken to the ER. There he suffered a heart attack due to his blood pressure being so high. He also had fluid on his lungs and was struggling to breathe. After many tests and a very long wait, he was diagnosed with a condition called Pheochromocytoma. It is a very rare hormone-secreting tumor that can form on the adrenal gland. Now we know the reason behind his struggle with high blood pressure.

He still is waiting for a PET scan to determine if the tumor has spread to any other part of his body. Since it is so rare, he will need to be transferred to a different hospital, possibly in the Bay Area, so that he can undergo surgery to remove it. We are praying for supernatural healing. We are praying against cancer. We are praying against genetic mutations being the cause. We are praying for God to provide a skilled surgeon to do the job.

Dirk owns his own business as an electrician, and this entire month he has been out of work due to his health. Cathy has been faithfully by his side and also not working at this time. Any donations would help so much in covering expenses of daily living, bills, medical costs, and travel expenses. Dirk is a faithful man of God and we know he will get through this. But we desperately need prayer warriors on our side. We serve a God that is NOT done working miracles. We serve a God with Resurrection Power. Impossible has never stopped Him and He has never failed us. We are asking for your help financially, but most importantly we are asking for you to lift Dirk up in prayer. Thank you.
