As many of us are so painfully aware, Dirk was diagnosed last week with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. As you can imagine, this diagnosis was a shock to his family, friends and to his colleagues. Dirk is a person who would give you the shirt off his back. To know him is to love him. He is a dedicated Hockey coach for Charlie and Freddy, a supportive daddy to Jane, a talented dentist, avid outdoorsman, adoring husband and a proud dad to baby Nora just a few weeks ago.
