Dirko's end of life expenses
Donation protected
On February 10th 2021, Dirk Parker AKA Dirko, passed away unexpectedly. He had suffered a fall 3 days prior, that broke his neck, and put him into a coma. He was and incredible man, a faithful husband, and the most amazing father any child could ever imagine having. There was nothing he loved more, than his family. Dirko always claimed to be the "richest man I know, even though I don't have any money." The last year and a half of his life, he worked tirelessly and diligently to make his dream come true of opening Daddio's Subs & Stuff, in Gloucester Virginia. Unfortunately, the month after he opened his final Pizza place, the Covid pandemic hit. Because of this, he never once took a paycheck from his business. He was and incredible man, who was going to do what ever he needed to do to make his dream come true.
He passed away in Virginia, and we are bringing him back home to Ohio for everyone to say their final goodbyes. Because of this, his funeral is going to cost twice as much. These donations are going to go directly to helping fund his funeral and also help his children and wife with the extra expenses that came with his passing. Unfortunately, he did not have life or health insurance leaving the final expenses to his family.
Dirko touched many, many peoples lives, children to adult. He worked for the Mount Vernon School District, for a number of years, as a Child and Family Advocate, helping many kids and families in difficult situations. He was also a ten year Hospice volunteer, helping elderly and sick people in the final stages of their life. Volunteering for Camp Hope many summers, helping many children cope with the passing of a loved one. My dad had the most genuine heart, a man can have.
My family greatly appreciates all the prayers and support. God Bless you all.
With Love,
Fred, Allyson, Emily, & Theresa Parker
