The organization “Smile for Afghan Children and Youth” has been working in Afghanistan since 2018. We support vulnerable children and their families through education programs and humanitarian help. Our work includes giving children access to learning and providing families with basic needs such as food and clothing.

Today, Afghanistan is facing a serious humanitarian crisis. According to reports from United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, UNICEF, World Food Programme, and the World Bank, more than 90% of the population lives in poverty. For many families, finding food is the main concern, and other needs like education and clothing are often not possible.

The situation in 2026 is very difficult:

About 70% of people depend on humanitarian aid

Around 21.9 million people (about 45%) need urgent help

Between 3.5 and 3.7 million children under five suffer from acute malnutrition

About 1.4 million children are at risk of dying

These numbers represent real families who face daily challenges.

In response, our team, together with Human Rights Bridge Organization, has started the “Smile Campaign.” Our goal is to support 100 vulnerable families with food and clothing.

Our approach:

. Identify families in need through local volunteers

. Deliver help directly to them

. Provide transparency with photos, videos, and receipts

The project will be carried out in Afghanistan with local volunteers.

We believe even small help can make a real difference. Your support can provide food, clothing, and hope to families in need.
