My name is Brady Beazley and this past May, I volunteered at the Marshyangdi School in Kathmandu and trekked the Langtang Valley. To reach the trek, I traveled along the Trishuli River and stayed in Syabrubesi — a village that has now been almost entirely destroyed by the Central Nepal Floods. The people there were incredibly generous to me, and now they urgently need help.
This GoFundMe is intended to send support directly to the Nepali people who showed me incredible kindness, hospitality, and guidance during my time there. They are now facing devastating loss.
Your donation will help provide food, clean water, shelter, and essential supplies to families who need immediate relief. Even $5 or $10 can make a meaningful impact.
The donations will go to Shereen Sarick, director of the Friends of Marshyangdi School, who supported me on my journey to Nepal and has supported so many more students in Nepal with an education and places to stay. She will then use the donations to directly support everyone on the ground affected by the floods. I couldn’t think of a better person to support in this devastating time.
Thank you for standing with Nepal.
