Direct Aid needed for Mexico - Hurricane Otis

Arete Renovators is a design build firm located in Chicago. We pride ourselves on the values we carry as a company and individually. One of these values being “family.”
Our Architectural Associate, Ben, was born and raised in Acapulco, Mexico where majority of his family and friends still live. The category 5 hurricane Otis has decimated many homes and has left nearly 100 people dead or missing.
Through Ben's communications with family and friends back home, we are learning every day the conditions people are now living in and the lack of access to supplies and needed resources.
The Arete family, on behalf of one of our own is kindly asking for help in raising funds, awareness and needed supplies for devastated areas of Acapulco and the surrounding region. Our plan is to raise funds that will be used to purchase supplies that will be directly shipped to Mosaic Church in Mexico City. Ben's wife's cousin is a youth pastor at the Mexico City Mosaic Church. Mosaic is accepting donations to then fill a truck and deliver to Acapulco. They will continue making trips to the region as long as they can maintain full truck loads. Their team will also take care of delivering directly to the neighborhoods on the ground.
A portion of the funds will also be used to donate to organizations that are helping care for the mass amounts of loved cats and dogs that have become homeless through this disaster.
