Veteran access to psychedelic psilocybin truffles

 

Hi, my name is Luc.

 

CEO and founder of Psychedelic Insights BV in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I'm 53, have a 16 y/o daughter. I'm a royal marine corps veteran. I'm a plant medicine advocate and my business provides psychological guidance for psychedelic experiences. Clients use legal magic psilocybin truffles. My team and I have guided over 500 individuals in high-dose experiences since 2017. We need your help to change the world!

 

Our goal?

Our objective is to raise funds to set up a retreat for war veterans in nature and invite scientists to measure the participants at the outset, and after each psychedelic psilocybin truffle session. We want to document everything and interview everyone. If you want to change the world, you need to start the change yourself. And I'm asking for your help too because we need to do it together. Change from the bottom up. By a better alternative.

What do we do?

Since 2017 we've provided professional psychological guidance for high dose psychedelic experiences.

The video is the trailer of a documentary we produced to show the effects on a group of veterans, including some active special forces operators. We used the freely available psilocybin Magic truffle, registered with an EU food and safety certification.

In the past 10 years a lot of scientific research has gone into psilocybin and other psychedelics. 

 

Our own research

We had a small investment to set up and pay for the study.

The results were very promising; with 9 participants, who had 2 high dose sessions each, and none had any adverse effects.

 

Key findings:

- Reduction of PTSD after 4 weeks 31%

- 29% drop in anxiety over 8 weeks

- Depression dropped by 18% over 8 weeks

- Improvement in wellbeing after 8 weeks 11%

- 34% change in relationships, perception of closeness

 

Let's be the change

We want to change the world. So we need to innovate mental well-being and mental health and accelerate the tipping point of human consciousness. We believe veterans are underserved. Veterans make high sacrifices and return home and leave the military with no safety-net for them to fall back on, and many suffer from depression, PTSD, anxiety and addictions to try and cope. So we want to change the outlook.

 

With the US / UK organisation Heroic Hearts we host research for veterans. But we need to gather more data on every client we treat. We want to help provide more data and show what we already know to be true: it can help if the service, set and setting and therapy is supportive and authentic.

 

Our team

We have a great team that works as psychedelic therapists. We choose to work with authentic and unique individuals who form our trans-disciplinary team. Psychedelic Insight facilitators come from varying scientific, psychological, psycho-therapeutic, and international and cultural backgrounds and, together, we form a stable, passionate, and warmhearted team, to provide each client with the best opportunity to benefit from the potential of psilocybin.

 

Experience Training

As a company, we are hosting therapists in training. We provide the actual psychedelic experiences for therapists in training during a 12-month professional certificate training in the elements of psychedelic therapy and integration; With therapists from the US and Canada.
