Gail has been helping feral and abandoned cats for over 10 years. I joined with her several months ago. Gail lost all of her jobs due to covid and I live off social security disability. We have been struggling to afford all the food our cats need.
We care for more then 100 cats in over 20 different colonies. The cats eat over 30 pounds of dry food everyday. We also use wet canned food for the old cats and kittens.
We take care of them when they are sick as well as spay and neuter services. Sometimes we can get vets to do these at low cost.
We are fundraising now because we are out of money. We have recently started feeding several new colonies. The new colonies have moms with kittens. They will have to be fixed and this will cost a lot money.
Currently Gail is caring for one of our older cats with an eye infection. Gail keeps the cat in her bathroom till it no longer needs eye drops or medication. Then it's back out to the wild.
Im putting the cat food on my credit card now.
These cats have no one else to take care of them except us. We are both struggling but we must help these cats.
Some of the cats have been abandoned by their owners. They are very friendly. We feed them also.
