Every day of October, I will do an outdoor cold water swim to raise funds for a small animal rescue group in Dubai.

I will swim for at least 15 minutes each day no matter the weather ️❄️ in just a normal swimming costume, and maybe a hat if it’s very cold. No wetsuit or specialist swimwear.

The group I’m raising money for found and saved my now pet cats Bea and Jisso. These two are both now incredibly spoilt, and have come far from the tiny, malnourished, unwell kittens that were first found. These guys were so lucky but there are so many more who need help.

Theres no government support or neutering programme to help stray animals in Dubai and the sheer number who need help is overwhelming.

This amazing small group spend every spare moment they have, helping the neglected and stray animals.

They receive no financial support and pay for everything themselves. I’m forever grateful to them for all they do every single day.
