Support Dionna Weaver’s Journey to HBCUs

Dionna Weaver is a proud senior at TechBoston Academy in Dorchester with a passion for architecture and a dream to build a future of her own design. She’s also a dedicated student at The Possible Zone, where she’s developing entrepreneurial skills and growing her entrepreneurial mindset through hands-on , project based learning & STEAM education which is helping her become the CEO of her own life .

With the unwavering love and support of her mother, Dionna has overcome many challenges and defied societal expectations. Now, as she prepares to graduate, she’s determined to continue breaking barriers as a successful young woman of color — and she’s ready for the next chapter: college.

Dionna has been accepted into the Journey to HBCUs program, an opportunity that will allow her to tour several historically Black colleges and universities in the spring of 2026. She will visit campuses including:

Texas Southern University

Prairie View A&M University

Wiley University

Grambling State University

Southern University (New Orleans & Baton Rouge)

Dillard University

Xavier University of Louisiana

Through this experience, Dionna will explore academic programs, connect with students and faculty, and immerse herself in the rich history and culture of HBCUs — all while planning her future.

We need your help to make this happen.

Our goal is to raise $1,900 to cover the full cost of the trip, including airfare, lodging, transportation, meals, and other essential expenses.

Every donation brings Dionna one step closer to a future filled with promise, purpose, and opportunity.

Thank you for believing in her journey — and for investing in the bright future of a rising leader.
