Diongzon Sister's Super Typhoon Rai Relief

Hello. We're Kirstie Belle and Dealan! Diongzon sisters that both have birthdays in January.

This year we're planning on giving back to our families in the Philippines. As you might have heard a Super Typhoon ravaged the Cebu area where our family is from. Our Papa's side is in Bantayan Island in Cebu and our Mama's side is in a town called Barili.

Luckily our Papa's side made it through with just a collapsed fence, but our Mama's side was not so fortunate. Our Titas, Titos, and cousins are without power, cell phone signal, limited water supply and a lot of their roofs are torn off or homes collapsed. Thankfully no one has gotten hurt and everyone is alive and well.

All we want to do for our birthdays is to give back to those families who open their homes to us every time we visit to thank them and help them in their time of need. The plan is to gather the money and send it to our Ma who will distribute it among our families in the Philippines. We had asked our cousins for charities, but they directed us to our Ma; this the quickest way to get it to them. After talking about it with our parents, we decided $2000 would be a good goal to send our families back home.

We understand how tough everyone has it now, but even a couple of dollars will be enough to send. And if you can't, that's okay! We understand. Please do try to share the link around. The two of us plan to donate $200 each at first and our parents will start at $100. Whatever the difference is from now till January 18th, we'll put in ourselves.
