Our Diocese of New York and New Jersey is raising funds for OPERATION: SPRING VALLEY, the Diocesan-wide "call to action" for volunteer on-site work, and financial support, for the improvement of the church, rectory, and grounds of our St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Spring Valley, NY. Volunteers are sought from our parishes to work on-site on Saturday, Aug. 2, and Saturday, Aug. 9, starting at 9:00 AM, at the church property, 64 West Church Street, Spring Valley NY; and/or to contribute toward the costs of the supplies and the professional services required for the more specialized tasks that must be done.
