Story
Dinner time is a common day-to-day occurrence after a long work day when all family members enjoy their meal together with smiles and happiness. But do we really know if someone's day had been good? What secrets do they keep from their family? And what happens when one day, it becomes too much for one to handle? Dinner Time is a short film that explores a family's true hidden nature, the psychological effects these secrets can have on one's sanity, and what happens when someone can't keep it all in.
The Team Behind the Film
A collaboration between film student Aaron Ing and actor Kieran Eastgate, this Melbourne-based no-budget high school-led short film is made possible by a crew comprised of friends who share a deep interest in filmmaking and storytelling. With members of the team planning to take up Film and Television and Acting as a major in university, this project will help develop portfolios and experiences that can be utilized in their careers ahead. Shooting will happen between the middle of October 2022 to Early November 2022. We also anticipate that the film will be submitted to Film Festivals worldwide
