For years, John Dingfelder has courageously spoken up for the people of Tampa. He has put his career, livelihood, and personal well-being on the line in public service. He has served as a voice for those who could not speak up, serving on the Tampa City Variance Review Board, and most recently, the Tampa City Council. Defending neighborhoods, protecting the environment, and acting as the conscience of the city we love.
 
Recently John was forced to resign from City Council as the result of a lawsuit brought against him by a development consultant. While John has professed his innocence, the cost of defending himself against deep pocket developers without the assistance of the city proved to be beyond his means. He had no recourse but to agree to their demands prior to getting his day in court.
 
This is an effort to help John recoup personal legal costs incurred before resigning. All donations will benefit him.

John has been a tireless defender of the people. It is time now for the people to help defend John Dingfelder.
