Dinga has a broken jaw!! Please help if you can.

Hi there, thank you for reading. Our beautiful Blue Heeler Dinga has had a terrible accident and we need help to cover medical expenses.

Her jaw is broken in several places, much worse than I thought. X-rays and the vet inspection revealed that her injuries are much worse than we originally expected. They couldn't help us (very much) and we've been referred to a specialist and have set up an appointment for Tuesday morning (today being Saturday and that is the soonest we could get in.)

Dinga is an amazing dog, who always gathers attention and admiration when she graces the streets and sidewalks with her regal form.

Blue Heelers are cattle dogs, a true working breed and are often not too friendly with new people, but Dinga is an exception, having been socialized by my side as we've traveled all over the Western US together. She loves to work, but is also a super duper sweet heart, and has made many friends on her journeys.

Dinga needs reconstructive surgery to be able to survive and to be able to eat again. Until we get the jaw fixed up and healed, she has no chance of chewing food and very little chance of surviving. She is still a young pup, at seven years old, and is super healthy, other than the injury.

For the last five years I have not fed her any kibble or processed foods. I have made stew for her from human food and also fed her lots of fresh raw beef. I have always done my best for her to be her best, and now I need to ask for your support to be able to get her the help she needs right now.

Our appointment is at Gruda veterinary hospital in Santa Fe, and the estimated bill is $5,400.
I must apologize for being so broke right now, and I can tell you that it's not due to laziness. I have been engaged in intensive studies for the last several years, while I've also been working on some amazing large scale art projects, which have not yet brought in any income.

Thank you for understanding and thank you so much for any support you are willing to contribute. It means the world to us, to me, to Dinga, to the cats at home that are worried about her, and to all her friends that are just worried sick about her.

This is the first time I've had to ask for help for something like this, and I don't take it lightly, I do very much appreciate your help. Thank you
