Dineen Mills is a wife, mother, MeMe, sister, & friend. She’s been married to her High School Sweetheart “Munch” for 35 years. Together, they’ve raised 3 beautiful kids: Brittany (Rich), Nicco, and Noah….and boy does she adore her family! Especially her three granddaughters: Mia, 5; Harper, 3; and Saylor, 1 year.
She is obsessed with the HGTV Show, “Fixer Upper”, that stars Chip and Joanna Gaines and is constantly channeling her “Inner Joanna” to decorate her home. Christmas is her favorite time of year, although she’d tell you that anytime spent with family and friends is her favorite time.
Her positive energy and love of life knows no bounds. She lights up the world with her smile and infectious laughter. She is just so loved by so many.
She works at the sleep lab inside WMC but can’t go to work at this time. Not because she doesn’t want too…it’s just that….. Dineen has leukemia.
Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia (CMML) to be exact. CCML is a rare and very serious Leukemia that requires intense chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.
She has already begun her treatment. She finished her first round of chemo a week or so ago. But there is so much more to come.
But, here’s where you come in! While we can’t undo Dineen’s condition, we can help ease some of the financial burden as she and Munch try figure out how to navigate their new normal. Dineen and Munch typically depend on their combined monthly income to pay their bills. But, because of the unknown amount of time that Dineen will be out of work, this presents a very great need on top of the yet to be determined medical bills that will eventually present themselves.
If you would be so kind as to give any amount. Anything at all. It appreciated and welcomed.
Some of her friends will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner Benefit in January of 2020, but that is just so far away and the need for financial help is immediate. So, anything you can contribute is very, very much appreciated.
