Dina Schmidt Urban Benefit for Medical Expenses

Dina Schmidt Urban from Glencoe/Plato, MN, has been struggling with undiagnosed health issues for the past four years. Dina has been to multiple physicians in many fields, primarily neurologist at Glencoe Regional Health, Ridgeview Specialty Clinic, University of MN, and currently at the Mayo Clinic. She has been tested for multiple things; west nile's disease, hashimotos disease, MRI of spine, huntington's disease, ataxia, autoimmune disease, spinal leak (there are many more). Unfortunately the physicians have not been able to diagnosis her medical condition.

Dina's health continues to diminish. More specifically affecting her stability and mobility, she has fallen down stairs countless times, once resulting in broken ribs and shoulder and even falls while walking. This has affected her cognitive processes, her speech, memory, weight loss, motions for cooking, washing clothes and other day to day tasks.

Dina is currently living on the main floor of their home. Her husband, Chris, moved their bedroom to the main floor so she no longer has to climb stairs. In addition, he modified their bathroom by taking out their bathtub and putting in a walk in shower so she does not risk more chances of slipping or falling.

She is currently under the care and review with the Mayo Clinic neurology team however, Dina is no longer able to work and her medical expenses continue to build.

This GoFundMe page was setup by family and friends to assist Dina with her medical expenses. All funds collected will go directly to Dina.
