Hi, my name is Jessiemay and i am fundraising for my friend Luke to help his Dingo Dena who was shot by a farmer with what vets suspect was a shotgun.

Pellets covering her body, one pellet dangeriously near her lung and another pellet fractured her front leg.

Urgent Surgery is needed immediately. Right now Dena is stable, being cared for by dingo expereinced vets.

We are really sorry to hear about what happened to Dingo Dena and it is a very difficult time for Luke. It's truly heartbreaking to see animals face such unfortunate situations. We are now fundraising to cover the costs of Dena's surgery and aftercare, which is estimated to be around $7,000.

Dena is my everything, I'm completely traumatised by this. Dena is such a wonderful girl. So much personality and character. She's my best friend. My family. Dena isn't replaceable. She is too precious to not recover properly and live her life. She is only a puppy, just over 2years old. Plays talks and acts like one.

Dena was shot yesterday by a farmer after the doggy daycare allowed Dena to escape and run onto a neighbouring property, she was wearing a bright pink collar at the time.

Luke was in an accident that left him with injuries that require him to attend medical rehabilitation, Luke was attending rehabilitation at the time of the shooting.

An update on Dina

Vet Love veterinary clinic (https://vetlove.com.au/ ) requires payment in full before they will do surgery on Dena dingo’s fractcured front leg.

Dena is very uncomfortable no matter what position she is in. It's understandable that she is experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort with her fractured front leg. It’s distressing to see her trying to move around to get in a comfortable position to relieve her pain but falling over and hurting herself even more, crying in pain. She is on pain meds, kept quite and kept as comfortable as possible however she is still in a lot of pain.
