On December 13th, our world was rocked when my Mom was rushed into emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage. We are thankful for the doctors for bringing her through as it was touch and go in the OR, but we never expected the diagnosis afterwards.

After the surgery, she received a cancer diagnosis. She is still recovering from the surgery and still has to face the cancer and subsequent treatment plan. As a result, she is unable to work and had to resign from her job (one she loved and dedicated herself to for the past eight years) leaving her with a six month lapse in income. She is also facing a long succession of follow up treatments - most not covered under insurance.

This fundraiser is meant to support her and will go directly to navigate medical care, rehabilitation, and the many challenges that come with recovery. Any donation, share, or message of support means the world to us. Prayers are also greatly appreciated.
