Chiar în aceste zile, când pășim la începutul Sfântului și Marelui Post, comunitatea noastră a trecut printr-o încercare grea.

Spațiul în care ne adunam pentru rugăciune a fost distrus în urma unui incendiu.

Slavă lui Dumnezeu, nu au existat victime. Însă tot ceea ce însemna viața noastră liturgică : Sfintele Vase, veșmintele, cărțile de slujbă, icoanele și obiectele de cult, a fost pierdut în totalitate.

Clădirea în care slujeam nu era proprietatea noastră, iar această strângere de fonduri nu are ca scop reconstruirea imobilului. Dorința noastră este să putem continua viața comunității într-un nou spațiu, să redeschidem ușile rugăciunii și să așezăm din nou Sfânta Liturghie în inima noastră.

Postul Mare începe cu chemarea la curățire, la reînnoire, la milostenie.

Poate că, într-un mod pe care încă nu îl înțelegem pe deplin, și noi suntem chemați acum la o reînnoire. Nu a zidurilor, ci a inimilor. Nu a unui loc, ci a unei comuniuni.

Biserica nu este doar un spațiu.

Biserica este comunitatea care se roagă împreună, copiii care învață credința, familiile care se sprijină, sufletele care caută pacea lui Dumnezeu.

Dorim să strângem fonduri pentru:

• închirierea unui nou loc de slujire

• acoperirea costurilor de relocare

• înlocuirea obiectelor liturgice esențiale

• reluarea cât mai curând a slujbelor și activităților parohiale

Intrăm în Postul Mare fără un locaș, dar nu fără nădejde. Am pierdut un spațiu, dar nu am pierdut credința.

Dacă simțiți să ne fiți alături în acest început de drum, orice sprijin, oricât de mic, ne ajută să așezăm din nou o masă de altar, să aprindem din nou o lumânare, să rostim din nou „Cu pace Domnului să ne rugăm”.

Vă mulțumim pentru rugăciune, pentru solidaritate și pentru dragostea cu care ne înconjurați.

Credința rămâne.

Comunitatea rămâne.

Nădejdea rămâne.

Even in these very days, as we step into the beginning of the Holy and Great Lent, our community has gone through a heavy trial.

The space where we gathered for prayer was destroyed in a fire.

Glory be to God, there were no victims. However, everything that made up our liturgical life: the Holy Vessels, the vestments, the service books, the icons, and the sacred objects, was completely lost.

The building in which we served was not our property, and this fundraising effort is not intended to rebuild the structure. Our desire is to continue the life of the community in a new space, to reopen the doors of prayer, and to place the Holy Liturgy once again at the heart of our lives.

Great Lent begins with a call to purification, renewal, and charity.

Perhaps, in a way we do not yet fully understand, we too are being called now to renewal, not of walls, but of hearts; not of a place, but of communion.

The Church is not merely a space.

The Church is the community that prays together, the children who learn the faith, the families who support one another, the souls who seek the peace of God.

We are seeking to raise funds for:

• renting a new place of worship

• covering relocation costs

• replacing essential liturgical items

• resuming, as soon as possible, our services and parish activities

We enter Great Lent without a building, but not without hope. We have lost a space, but we have not lost our faith.

If you feel moved to stand with us at this new beginning, any support — no matter how small — helps us set an altar table once again, light a candle once more, and proclaim again, “In peace let us pray to the Lord.”

We thank you for your prayers, your solidarity, and the love with which you surround us.

Faith remains.

The community remains.

Hope remains.
