Dear Family and Friends,

Thursday morning our beloved and very close friend Dima Vaynblat passed away suddenly while going for his daily swim.

We met Dima when he was a 30 years old post-doc at Cal-Tech and he immediately stole our hearts with his brilliant mind and gentle soul. Since then, Dima was a true friend whether it was during our happiest or most difficult moments.

The news of his death came as a tremendous shock to us and we still can not believe our friend is not with us. He leaves behind a wife with two college-age children. As we witness our friends trying to navigate this unprecedented time in their lives, we would like to help his grieving family honor his memory and say their last goodbyes.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Dima's funeral. We are immensely grateful for any support during this difficult time.
