Hi, my name is Dillan. I’m 24 years old and I live in Oklahoma City.
I’m raising funds to help save my home from foreclosure. I never imagined I would be in this position, but after a series of unexpected setbacks, I’m now facing a very real and urgent deadline.
Earlier this year, I experienced medical issues related to a tumor on my pituitary gland, which prevented me from working consistently. As a small business owner, when I couldn’t work, my income stopped. By the time I was healthy enough to return, I was already behind financially.
I took a winter job in an effort to catch up, but that opportunity ended abruptly, leaving me without the stability I was counting on. Since then, I’ve been freelancing wherever possible and selling my belongings to stay afloat. I’m doing everything I can, but right now the timing has caught up with me.
I am scheduled to default on my loan on December 24th (Christmas Eve). The goal of $3,500 will help me cover the immediate costs needed to prevent foreclosure and get me through this month. If I’m unable to reach this goal, I will lose my home.
Stability for me means catching up on the debt I’ve accrued and having the chance to continue working, rebuilding, and moving forward. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this, means more than I can express.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you’re able to offer
