Digits for Teneale

Most know Teneale through the rodeo scene or her horse training business Hollywood Quarter Horses, where she has dedicated her life to the welfare and education of horses and their owners.

Unfortunately an accident last week, whilst at roping practice, severed her thumb and the tip of her middle finger completely off.

She was also dragged off the horse, and the rest of her body is more battered than a cheap Kransky at a roadhouse.

After a gruelling week in hospital her thumb is reattached but unlikely to ever be useable. Her finger remains part of the arena sand and may terrify an unsuspecting child at next year’s Easter egg hunt.

Whilst Teneale is recovering she won’t be able to work, and even when fully recovered she’s certainly going to have to slow down her usual frantic pace.

Due to being self employed, the loss of income is going to have an impact.

We’ve set up this go fund me to help relieve some of the financial pressure, to help with bills and assistance she is going to need to pay during her recovery, so Teneale (now known as Thumbelina) can get back to doing what she does best - improving the lives and relationships of horses and their owners.

We all know Teneale is a tough and independent woman, so for her sake this gofundme is not about raising a huge sum, but about taking some of the pressure off until she’s back to work. We also know she has a dark sense of humour, so feel free to add some insensitive comedy into your well wishes.
