Microscopes for My Classroom

Donation protected
***Update 3***
Hello and thank you all for your continued support! Last year we ended up being able to purchase 16 compound student microscopes, 8 additional microscopes used to observe rocks, and 14 handheld microscopes that attach to the computers! This has changed the dynamic of my classroom and brought real science to mu students. I would love to add more compound microscopes and new slides to observe for this school year. Please consider a donation, a share, or both if you can! Thank you for helping me bring hands on science to my students!

**UPDATE 2**
Thank you again for all of your support! I am trying to reach my goal so I can get a few digital microscopes so we can observe rocks! We will be starting the rock cycle and plate tectonics units soon! Thanks for sharing and donating!

**UPDATE**
Thank you everyone for helping me purchase 16 microscopes and a microscope cart for my classroom ($1,185 USD raised of $2,800! It was very exciting to use them during summer school. Some of my summer students never had the opportunity, so this was a special treat! I am also looking to add some handheld mini-scopes found here: Zoomy 2.0 Handheld Digital Microscope (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01A5YMA4Y?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1). This mini-scope can be a great introduction to the microscopic world before kids use the larger and more advanced microscopes. This would allow kids to see their skin and hair up close, as well as many different solid objects in their everyday life. Help me fundraise enough money to buy more of these for my classroom so we can inspire the next generation of great thinkers!

Hi everyone. I'm a middle school science teacher. I'm looking to raise enough money so I can purchase 20 microscopes for my students to share and use in class. There is nothing more wonderful than seeing the wonder in a classroom full of students experiencing a microscopic world for the first time. This would enable me to give them a hands-on experience anytime. Currently, I borrow microscopes for a few days, but my students always crave more. I'd love to have an opportunity to give students more hands-on experiences in my classroom. Please help by donating any amount you can and sharing this post.

Thank you everyone!!
