My name is Juliette Rosner, and I’m a sophomore at Byram Hills High School.
While volunteering at White Plains Hospital, I saw how much joy the book cart brought to patients. But I also noticed something important—many patients weren’t able to enjoy it. Some couldn’t read the books because of blindness, and others faced language barriers, including patients who only spoke Spanish. Seeing this made me realize that something meant to bring comfort wasn’t reaching everyone.
I am raising funds for the White Plains Hospital Digital Book Cart, an initiative I am developing to make books more accessible for all patients. With your support, I hope to provide iPads and other tech accessories that will give patients access to audiobooks and books in different languages. This will make reading possible for those who might otherwise miss out.
Your donation will help bring comfort, entertainment, and a sense of connection to patients during their hospital stay. I’m asking for your help to bring this project to life and make the book cart something every patient can enjoy.
Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference. Thank you for considering supporting this project and helping to make the hospital experience a little brighter for everyone.
