Diggers on Darling in Bourke Family Support

Hi, its John Reid from Royal Far West in Manly NSW.  We are incredibly sad to tell you that Diggers on Darling, certainly  our teams home away from home on many trips to Bourke and a historic part of Bourke, has burnt down. Anyone who has been to Bourke will have been to Diggers. Many RFW staff past and present will be included in that.

 

The family who ran it have lost everything, including their pets. We are raising funds for Sangita, Rookson, Yasoda and Jay to assist them with clothing and food. Anything you can spare will be much appreciated.

 

I am pleased to be organsing this fundraiser to support the families as it is such a tragic loss for them and the entire community. Monies will be directed into a local account set up for this purpose.
