On September 29th, the Payne/Mawyer family suffered a sudden and devastating loss with the unexpected passing of James "Brock" Mawyer. He leaves behind a loving wife (Lauren Mawyer) and daughter (Lyric). Passionate about music and food, loyal to his friends, and committed to an expanding imagination, he will be missed by many.

He was just 32 years old.

Most importantly, Brock's loss leaves an emotional hole in those who loved him most -- a community of friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors who cared for him. But this loss also creates significant financial obstacles for his family in the short and long term, including a funeral, living expenses, and future educational needs for his daughter.
