*Help Dieter Battle Rare Cholangiocarcinoma Cancer*

Hi, my name is Peggy, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my beloved brother, Dieter — a devoted husband, an incredible father, and one of the most hard-working, humble people you could ever meet.

Dieter, who lives in New York, was recently diagnosed with **cholangiocarcinoma**, a rare and aggressive cancer affecting his gallbladder and liver. This devastating diagnosis came after he was hospitalized with severe stomach pain. Doctors found a mass near his liver, and since then, life has changed completely for him and his family.

He’s now in his **second week of chemotherapy and radiation**, and while the treatment is intense and draining, Dieter continues to push himself to go to work — not because he wants to, but because he has to. Their family income has been drastically affected, and the bills keep coming.

They have always lived modestly, never asking anyone for anything. But now, facing **a rare and life-threatening illness**, the physical and financial toll is just too much.

Dieter has already lost **over 23pounds**, and the treatments are taking a serious toll on his body. Once this phase of chemo and radiation is complete, he’ll need **major surgery to remove his gallbladder and part of his liver**, followed by a long recovery period — during which he won’t be able to work at all.

As his sister living in Florida, it breaks my heart that I can’t be physically close to help with the day-to-day. So I’m doing what I can from afar — asking for your support.
