Hi, our names are Amanda Nicoletti and John Diberardo and we recently found out that our dog Diesel urgently needs surgery on his knee. He completely tore his ACL (CCL) and needs urgent surgery to repair his knee. We rescued him at the beginning of 2020 after he jumped from multiple homes (5 homes in 1 year). He is young and the most loveable, friendly and energetic dog. He currently can't walk and is in tremendous amount of pain. The surgegical intervention is necessary without it he will be unable to walk, run, play and have a low quality of life. We rescued him to give him the best life he could live and we want to get him this surgery so he can do so.

Unfortunately, we were unable to qualify for insurance due to being a rescue, thus nothing will be covered by an insurance company and will be paid by us. This is just the beginning of what we have learned will be a long road to recovery for Diesel, but the prognosis is quite good with surgical intervention.

The surgery and veterinarian costs are significantly high in which the surgery alone will cost $7000.00 and he will need some post surgery care which comes with additional costs.
