Diesels Army 160km bike ride

On June 30th, 2023 I am embarking on a 160km bike ride from Ottawa to Kingston in honor of Ryan Forbes and his family, to raise money for Appendix Cancer Research and Cancer Research. Over the past 4 years, I have watched Ryan endure one of the most courageous battles against cancer. Seeing his will and determination to beat this awful disease, has been very admirable and inspirational, to say the least. I am sure anyone who has followed his journey, can attest to that!

Over the past year, I have had my own physical challenges (double hip surgery) and I wanted to set a goal for myself to work towards. June 30th will mark 1 year, since my first surgery. It was a challenging year for me, but seeing what Ryan has gone through, on a daily basis, helped me keep things in perspective, that things weren’t that bad!

I asked the Forbes family what they would like to do with the donations, and they would like them to go towards Appendix Cancer Research or Cancer Research. I will be donating 100% of the funds raised to these charities!
