  • Inlandsreisen (Chiang Mai, Si Racha): 110 €
  • Unterkunft, 13 Nächte: 585 €
  • Verpflegung und Nahverkehr: 308 €
  • Versicherung, SIM-Karte: 90 €
  • Vorführmodell und Unterlagen: 250 €
  • Dolmetscher, 2 Tage: 350 €
  • Reserve: 259 €
  • Reisekosten zusammen: 2.852 €

TRANSPARENZ

ENGLISH VERSION

I'm Patrick from Worms, Germany, and I designed a small deep-space probe meant to be built in series instead of as a one-off costing tens of millions. Today it is a design with three patent applications, no hardware yet. To become more, it needs partners. With your donation I will take a demonstration model and the plans to institutes and companies in Thailand and present them there. Even EUR 20 helps.

EUR 22 = one day of food and local transport · EUR 45 = one night of accommodation · EUR 175 = one day with an interpreter · EUR 250 = the demonstration model

WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?

Deep-space probes are one-offs. Each costs tens of millions, and only a few space agencies can afford them. Mission Puve is the design of a ring-shaped small probe intended as a series product — for universities, smaller countries and research teams that are left out today.

Where things stand, without sugar-coating:

What exists: a fully calculated concept, a dimensional 3D model of the whole probe, three patent applications filed with the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (received on 6 October 2026), and documentation in German, English and Thai.

What does not exist: built hardware, a team, funding for the development. The probe is a design. A flight is years and tens of millions of euros away.

WHY THAILAND?

Thailand is expanding its space sector: the space agency GISTDA, the astronomy institute NARIT, the technology agency NSTDA and private companies. A probe that talks to Earth by laser needs a ground station — and for Thailand that would be an entry into deep-space communication. Whether anything comes of it is not decided by e-mail. You have to sit at the same table.

WHAT IS THE MONEY FOR?

A two-week trip around the turn of the year 2026/27. Travel costs including a reserve come to EUR 2,852 (flights, 13 nights, local travel, food, insurance, a demonstration model, an interpreter for two days); payment fees are about EUR 100. Anything beyond that pays for an interpreter on all meeting days and a larger demonstration model. The itemised list is in the German text above.

I will only book once at least two meetings are confirmed in writing. If the trip does not happen, I will refund the donations. If money is left over, the trip report will say what it was used for.

TRANSPARENCY

Everyone can read the public trip report: whom I met, what was said, what was promised — and what was not. With the daily schedule and the accounts. Even if the answer is "no".

This is a donation, not an investment: there are no shares and no returns.

THE RISKS

The trip may end without any commitment. Institutes decide slowly, and a single developer without a company is not a usual partner. The probe is a concept; several core technologies have been shown in the lab, but not in flight. Meetings can fall through — which is why nothing is booked before two confirmations are in.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

The trip is a test. If a Thai institution comes in with a written letter of intent, the next step follows: the first measurements. If the answer is no, the report will say so — and the path leads through European funding programmes.

Thank you for reading this far. If you can do only one thing: send the link to one person who likes spaceflight.
