Our little man is need of knee surgery due to a torn ligment in his hind left leg. We don't know how he was injured, but it is likely a result of his active lifestyle and playful behavior. The veterinarian has advised us on an arthroscopic surgery that can investigate and repair the tear. Diego remains in good spirits, but it is obvious he is in pain and often walks with a limp.

Diego is only five years old, and is a very special dog. He is known by everyone in the neighborhood, and has been a mentor and playmate to over 70 dogs during our three years of providing dog care through the service DogVacay.

Diego's sweet and gentle nature has helped even the shyest of dogs overcome their anxiety. His playfulness has brought out the puppy in almost every dog we have watched, and he is always open to sharing his bed and treats with guests.
