Diego's sudden passing

Our small Long Beach community is a diverse safe space for a lot of us, and few people open their homes and lives as selflessly and generously as John & Diego have for years. Especially during the holidays, our neighbors, our friends, all, had a place to go share a meal and a hug. But as life would have it, Diego passed away during this past Christmas weekend. He's survived by his husband John and his sister Jackie, as well as his family. But the unexpected nature of his passing has left everyone not just shocked but unprepared.

We're reaching out to everyone who's lives have been touched by these special people to request your support in the arrangements ahead. We hope that the spirit in which Diego lived his life: good intentions, love, inclusivity and support, lives on in all of us to pay it forward. We love you Diego and we are better for having had your beautiful smile and your embrace.
