Diego Rodriguez and Family

My heart is broken for this wonderful band kiddo of mine and his family.

Diego is a sophomore trombone player in my band and has always been such a sweet kid and hard worker.

When we started summer band, we noticed that he was not his normal self. He was unable to perform the basic tasks that he was always able to do.

After finding him in the hallways, barely able to catch his breath, he was sent to the doctor where they immediately sent him to Children’s Hospital in Dallas.

Diego was diagnosed with leukemia and has a long road ahead.
