Hello, all! 

This fundraising has been put together for my Dad, and his fight with cancer. On January 2016 my dad, Diego, told my Mom that his back was hurting, a week later my mom, Isabel, decided to take him to the doctor to see why his back was still hurting. Once the doctors did some tests, my dad was diagnosed with Leukemia. We were devastated but a great team of doctors made a treatment plan, aggressive but my dad decided to go for it and fight this cancer. Despite all the chemotherapy and many other types of treatment, his blood levels were still abnormal. Doctors decided to do a Bone-Narrow transplant as soon as possible, they told us that was the only option we had left to save him.

The Bone-Narrow transplant was done on January 3, 2017. Everything was doing great, but three weeks went by and he wasn’t doing well; Doctors decided to do a scan and saw something on his lung. A biopsy was made and the results were State 4 Cancer, and since he was so weak and still trying to recover from the transplant there was no treatment possible for this. Doctors told us that there was nothing that could be done and just wait for God’s will.
  
As of right now, he is in a Hospice Services with all his loved ones by his side making sure he is comfortable on his last days. Since my mom found out that my dad had cancer, she stopped working and took care of him 24/7. As you all know medical bills are overwhelming and my mom is struggling to cover all this plus trying to keep her home. 
 
Sadly things are getting worse and we will need support for all the expenses that are not covered by insurance. Please help our family in this difficult time with anything you can. We truly appreciate every single donation.
