Wow! We are so thrilled to have reached our initial goal to get started in helping Diego with some of his financial strain. We wanted to make a goal that we hoped was attainable, but we had no idea the response we would get! We've been so overwhelmed with everyone's generosity. Diego's medical bills will far exceed our initial goal so we wanted to set another goal to encourage those who still want to help. We can't thank everyone enough. Here is Diego's story:
Diego Mayorga has been a tennis coach at Elite Squad Tennis Club for the last 8 years. He has a passion for coaching tennis and helping athletes achieve their goals by working with discipline and commitment.
On October 10th, 2018 Diego suffered a massive seizure that resulted in an induced coma and an 8 day stay in the ICU. Many tests were done and more are needed to find the cause of the seizure which is still unknown.
This trauma has left him unable to work, unable to drive and unable to live alone for the time being. This has caused a great financial stress to Diego and his family.
The insurance coverage that he purchased on his own has a very high deductible and only covers a small portion of all the test that need to be done.
Now more than ever Diego needs our help. Any help he can get is very much appreciated. He believes that with the help of God, his family and his friends he will recover soon and be able to return to work to do what he loves the most. Diego and his family have been overwhelmed by everyone who has reached out, visited and prayed for him. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts.
Diego ha sido entrenador de tennis en Elite Squad Tennis club por los últimos 8 años. El tiene una pasión por entrenar y ayudar a los jugadores de tennis para que lleguen al mejor de los niveles y tiene una ética profesional basada en la disciplina y el compromiso.
El 10 de octubre de este año Diego sufrió una convulsión masiva que resultó en un coma inducido y 8 días en la unidad de cuidado intensivo . Muchos exámenes han sido realizados y hay muchos más que se necesitan para encontrar la causa de la convulsión que es inexistente hasta el momento .
Este trauma ha dejado a Diego sin la posibilidad de trabajar, manejar, vivir solo por un tiempo. Lo que ha causado un estrés financiero a Diego y a su familia.
El cubrimiento médico que Diego compró por su propia cuenta tiene un deducible bastante alto y sólo cubre una pequeña parte de los exámenes que se han realizado .
Ahora más que nunca Diego necesita de nuestra ayuda . Cualquier contribución será de mucha ayuda. Diego cree que con la ayuda De Dios su familia y sus amigos el se recuperará pronto y podrá volver a trabajar en lo que más le gusta .
