Fundraiser for the funeral of Diego Marín Berrio

We are the friends and family of Diego Marín Berrio, a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and husband, who very suddenly passed away on the morning of Thursday the 23rd of May 2024, at only 46 years of age, whilst his wife was taking their youngest daughter to school.

Diego has left behind his beloved wife, Sandra Bedoya and his two beautiful daughters, Hailey and Kylie, ages 17 and 9. His family are absolutely devastated and are struggling to find the funds to cover his funeral costs, as they were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service and Diego was the family's sole provider.

Diego was born in Armenia, Colombia, on the 6th of July 1977 and moved to London in 1997 in search of a better life. He met his wife Sandra in 2001. In 2006, their eldest daughter Hailey was born, followed by their youngest daughter Kylie in 2014.

We would like to give Diego the memorial he deserves, a memorial to honour how he lived for others and how he accomplished so much to help the people he loved so deeply. We hope to say our last goodbyes through a beautiful memorial, honouring how special he was as a person to everyone around him.

Diego worked as an Uber driver and was a hard working, dedicated man with good morals. Diego adored his family and dedicated his entire life to making them happy and providing for them. His wife, daughters, mother, sister and nephews were his entire world. He never once gave up, not even at his lowest, and always put the needs of others before his own. He touched the lives of those around him every single day.

Diego loved motorcycles, he loved to enjoy life, and spend quality time with his loving family.
