Our mission is to build a regenerative bridge between the diaspora and the continent — combining sustainable hospitality, regenerative agriculture, and real community support to make return possible for generations to come.
A place that includes reforestation and agroforestry, community gardens and regenerative farming, programs that help families rediscover their gifts and create income from purpose-driven work, cultural gatherings, music, creativity, and connection, hospitality that welcomes visitors and locals alike, and sustainable, eco-responsible homes and lodging — all built in harmony with THE MOST HIGH Covenant and the land.
Now we're raising funds to build the infrastructure that makes that possible: a flagship aparthotel and regenerative farmland — real hospitality and real economic activity.
What We're Building
A flagship aparthotel — Our flagship aparthotel is being built with eco-responsible architecture in a strong commercial, high-density tourism corridor — designed to carry a national grading of 3 to 4 stars. It combines the independence of a home with the convenience of a hotel: a restaurant and bar, an in-house tourism agency, a business center, porterage for luggage, and 24-hour front desk service with multilingual staff. Guests get comfortable en-suite private bathrooms with routine daily maintenance, on-site guest laundry and dry cleaning, and enhanced in-room features — plus a ballroom built for weddings, conferences, and large community events.
Because it's a true hybrid of apartment and hotel, it offers real range: some units come with a full kitchen, several bedrooms, closets, a living room, and a balcony; others are smaller with fewer bedrooms or no balcony; some are simply standard hotel rooms. That range means different price points for different needs — and nightly rates that drop for extended bookings, making it a natural fit for work trips, relocations, and repatriation. This is the public-facing bridge: the place where the diaspora and the continent physically meet, for the public good.
Regenerative agro-industrial land — Alongside the aparthotel, we're securing land for agro-industrial development — agriculture, herbal and medicinal production, and value-added processing, built on holistic regenerative methods instead of extraction. That means biological fertilizers like compost, vermiculture, biochar, and animal manure; agroforestry that integrates deep-rooted native trees like Acacia and Enset (false banana) directly into crop fields to pull nutrients up from deep underground, hold moisture, and break the wind; nitrogen-fixing cover crops in place of bare, fallowed fields left exposed to erosion; improved agronomic practices; and aquaculture setups that bring fish farming into the system.
This isn't a side project. Agriculture makes up roughly a third of Ethiopia's economy, employs the large majority of its workforce, and drives most of its export revenue — techniques that work here can help far beyond our own land. We're not investing in food security; we're investing in food sovereignty — real human development capital that builds knowledge and community self-reliance instead of dependency on imports. In practice, that means splitting our investment between high-value land near the city and high-yield rural acreage: a reliable supply of fresh produce for the aparthotel kitchen down the line (while our own land matures, we'll work directly with local farmers and cooperatives), a weekend agritourism destination for long-stay guests, and a surplus that feeds directly into local markets as its own separate stream of income.
A work vehicle — None of this works without a way to move. A work vehicle lets the team reach both sites — the aparthotel's commercial hub and the farmland typically 30 minutes to an hour outside town — to coordinate builds, manage the land, and keep the project moving.
Our Goals
Goal 1 — Secure the ground.
Acquire the land: a site for the aparthotel in a strong commercial and tourism corridor, and separate acreage nearby for agriculture. Acquire the work vehicle needed to manage both sites and move the team.
Goal 2 — Break ground.
Begin eco-responsive construction on the aparthotel's first structures, and begin preparing the farmland — soil work, agroforestry plantings, and the early infrastructure regenerative agriculture needs to take hold.
Goal 3 — Open the doors.
Bring the first rooms of the aparthotel online and welcome our first guests, while the land begins producing — supplying the kitchen, then the wider market. This is the point where the project starts sustaining itself and the next phase of expansion begins.
Why It Matters
This is infrastructure for return — a real answer to where our families land when they come home, and how the relationships/networks that hold & support them once they're there. Every dollar is a dollar toward fewer of us trapped in cycles of high cost and little resources, and more of us with somewhere real to build a life among our community.
Agritourism fits seamlessly into the master plan by transforming the farm and land into an immersive eco-experience that caters to different travel styles, ranging from family-friendly comfort to rugged adventure. While some members and visitors will prefer the convenience of the urban hotel headquarters, others crave a wild, off-grid experience and want to connect directly with nature and wildlife. By developing campsites and eco-lodges on the rural land, the initiative can market specialized packages that teach advanced self-sufficiency techniques—such as eco-building, renewable energy systems, water and waste management, and advanced food cultivation and preparation. This not only creates an additional revenue stream and educational hub for the community, but it also gives people a hands-on way to experience sustainable living
