On Dec 30th Dianna is getting a full hysterectomy.
She will need the funds by Dec 25th, 2020
Dianna has been dealing with Endometriosis for over 10 years. She needs financial help to get surgery on Dec 30th. She is not asking for the full amount but enough to help her get into the hospital to get the surgery done. This does not include the amount for aftercare- time off, meds, etc.
Before being diagnosed she was told she had multiple other issues that were not the case. She went through numerous tests, hospital visits, and given incorrect medications time after time. She had to go through many doctors before someone finally listened to her about checking for endometriosis.
As a young adult, she took several different kinds of birth control to try and help her pain and symptoms. It was not until 2015 that a doctor finally listened and Dianna and she had a laparoscopic surgery. It was in fact endometriosis, as well as cysts and a lot of scar tissue causing her debilitating pain. The surgery was successful in helping the pain but only treated her symptoms temporarily. Since the results of the surgery only lasts a few years she was back on an implant for birth control. From previous experience, this did nothing for the pain and her endometriosis. This also made her other medical ailments harder to deal with, including her very severe case of hidradenitis suppurativa.
Dianna has had a stable job at a school for almost 10 years now. She has been a teacher in a classroom for 3 years. The decision to have surgery is not one she considered lightly. Dianna knows she does not want to birth her own children. She works with children every day and loves them dearly, but knows for sure that she will never want to (if able) birth her own children. Her and her partner are on the same page and have been together for 5 years, Their plan is to adopt or foster into the far future.
This surgery will mean so much to Dianna. It will be a huge weight off her shoulders. At this point, Dianna is in pain every day and it is affecting every aspect of her life. With this surgery, she will be cured entirely of her endometriosis. If you would consider making a donation, that would mean the world to her. Thank you for your time and donation.
