Our dear friend Diane Johnson experienced a life-threatening aortic aneurysm that led to a 12-hour surgery. While doctors hoped she would recover quickly, complications required her to be placed in a medically induced coma for two and a half months. When she awoke, she received heartbreaking news; her condition had left her permanently blind, with no known cure.
Refusing to give up, Diane spent the next three years researching potential treatments. Her search led her to The Savir Center in Magdeburg, Germany, where Prof. Dr. Bernhard Sabel, a pioneer in Electro Shock Therapy, reviewed her case and accepted her into his program. With full support from her medical team, Diane is now preparing to travel to Germany for treatment. With this treatment, it is known to have a success rate of up to 75%.
We are raising funds to support Diane and her travel companion with flight costs, medical treatment, and accommodations during this journey of hope and healing. As this treatment is not offered anywhere in the U.S.
