On December 11,2017 our mom, Diane Patterson under went an unexpected 4 vessels bypass open heart surgery where she stayed 1 week at Genesys Hospital.  She then returned back home to recover from her surgery. We were warned it would be a long painful recovery but she was constantly in horrible pain. On January 7th 2018, we rushed her to the ER because she woke up, could not move her legs or feet, and was in the most pain she had been in. After spending all day in the ER an MRI showed she had a pinched nerve in her upper spine area. She had essentially 2 options: get a risking surgery where there was a 50% chance that even would work. If the surgery didn't work she would be paralyzed. (risky being, she just had a major surgery 3 weeks ago, could her body handle another surgery? Could her heart handle another surgery??)  Or not do the surgery and risk permanently being paralyzed. Her choice was obvious, Do the surgery! She came out of surgery with flying colors. Strongest woman we know That's  for sure! Her recovery time went from 3 months to now we are looking at 6 plus months in a hospital/rehab facility. She is currently getting stronger and stronger everyday, but the medical bills are coming and coming; and her everyday bills aren't stopping. If you know our mom she is not one to take handouts and it is hard for us to ask for her, but she will need some help financially. 
Her pastor says, "Don't rob someone of being a blessing to you". So many people have been asking how they can help. So, we are asking if anyone would like to help financially, we are beyond grateful; and if you can't financially help then we just appreciate your continued prayers. Our mom is loved by so many!!! We know God is good and will continue to bless our mom and meet her financial needs but sometimes it just takes an army. Thank you all so much!!!
