Hello, friends and family of Diane Wiseman. This is her daughter, Abbie. On 12/28/2023, she was admitted to the hospital for respiratory failure with hypoxia due to a severe case of RSV combined with underlying asthma. She was intubated on 12/28 and on 12/31 we made the decision to put her on Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) as a more aggressive form of treatment. She remains in stable yet critical/guarded condition in the Cardiac ICU. She will have a long road to recovery and her release/return date to work is undetermined. Because she’s self employed, her household income will inevitably see a drop. Any donations would go toward medical bills and any household bills in her absence from work.
