Diane was Hit by a drunk driver at Swan Boat Club

I am setting up this Go Fund Me page for my amazing friend Diane Medina who was seriously injured when a vehicle crashed through the wall at the Swan Boat Club during a birthday party she was attending with her granddaughters on April 20, 2024. Diane is currently at ProMedica in Toledo. She sustained serious injuries which include but not limited to internal bleeding, fractured pelvis in 3 places requiring surgery with another one possible, a broken nose which requires surgery, laceration to her head and large hematoma to her right arm. Diane was attending the birthday party with her 3 granddaughters and by the grace of god they were not seriously injured. Diane will be going through months of rehabilitation and has a long recovery ahead of her. She will be off work for a lengthy amount of time, she will need assistance for her personal care and the medical bills are already starting to add up. Diane, as well as her granddaughters, will be in need of counseling due to the horrific things they saw and experienced. This Go Fund Me will also be shared with Diane’s granddaughters to cover their medical expenses. If you are able to help Diane and her granddaughters it would be greatly appreciated!
