For quite some time I have been able to be of some benefit doing this and that for Rigpa, mostly AV stuff, while ignoring physical problems that have been piling up. Looking at my aggregates I am often tempted to quip “it’s always something with you people!”, turn a deaf ear, and carry on. But age catches up with us all and now I feel my life force diminishing. Something had to be done.

So, a few weeks back I finally visited a dentist and got the bad news. My teeth are hopeless, — have been for years and years — and it’s now at the point where I need most of them removed and replaced with fake ones. The alternative is for the multiple infected sites to continue to drain my energy to the point where things get really serious.

Problem is, I can’t afford it. $7,500 is more than I have and while I can try to scrape together a bit here and there realistically it’s not going to happen anytime soon. So I need to ask for your help. Talking the matter over with a few friends, we decided to set up a “GoFundMe”. Anything you can contribute will be enormously appreciated.

I don’t know how much time I have left. None of us do. Maybe a few years, maybe a couple of decades. Certainly no more than that. But whatever time I have left I only want to continue doing whatever I can to spread this wonderful Dharma that by some miracle we have received. And I promise I will.
